We’ve evolved. While the "same but different" spirit remains, our new home at Montacute Yards features a 19-seat open kitchen and a curated drinks list for the first time. We’ve traded the old shopfront for a modern space, but the fiery heart of our blackboard specials and our family-run soul haven't changed. We are now a 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand recipient, committed to high-quality regional Thai cooking in a more accessible, central location.

The restaurant is a collaboration between second-generation chef Sirichai ‘Siri’ Kularbwong, Nick Molyviatis (founding chef of Kiln), and Alexander Gkikas (founder of Catalyst). Siri preserves his family’s culinary heritage, Nick brings technical fire and open-kitchen precision, and Alex oversees the hospitality and "non-dogmatic" wine list. Together, they bridge the gap between a cult-favorite canteen and a modern London landmark.

Absolutely. The blackboard is our heartbeat. While we now have a core menu of signatures like our Moo Krob (crispy pork belly), the daily specials allow Siri and Nick to cook with the rhythm of the seasons. These dishes are often limited and reflect the most authentic, uncompromising regional Thai flavors we can source. Once a blackboard item is gone for the day, it’s gone—so we recommend arriving early to see what’s firing.

We aim to balance our cult-favorite roots with Shoreditch energy. We offer a mix of bookable tables via Opentable and counter seating reserved for walk-ins. The 19-seat open counter is the best place to watch the kitchen in action and is usually available on a first-come, first-served basis. For groups, we highly recommend booking in advance. Please note that while we have modernized, we still prioritize the communal, high-paced feel of a traditional Thai canteen.
